What Qualifies as a Non-Complex Case?
- Disputes between no more than two parties only
- No more than two central issues in dispute
- First-time mediation (not for second sessions after unsettled prior sessions)
This format is ideal for straightforward partnership disagreements, contract disputes, or early-stage employee conflicts that require strategic streamlined facilitation.
How Virtual Mediation Works
- Once the Intake Call & Documents Are Completed – Session Day is Scheduled
- Mediation Session Day:
- Up to 2-hours of mediation via secure video conferencing
- Option for a private caucus via breakout rooms if needed to break an impasse or exchange important private information
- If a mutual agreement is reached, the Settlement Agreement is drafted and presented for review and e-signature
- If a mutual agreement is not reached within the scheduled mediation period, a second session is scheduled for a new date.
